BIM-based Competitive Advantages and Competitive Strategies for Construction Consultancy SMEs: A Case Study in Vietnam

Building Information Modelling (BIM) has been proven as an innovative approach to bring values construction projectsas well stakeholders, including consultancy firms. BIM adoption could assist Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) inenhancingtheir competitive capability. Using a case study with pioneer service providers whichis SMEin Vietnam(the Consultant), the paper explores core competences for deliveringBIM services in relation potential advantages.
